European Shoe Width Letters/Labeling

OK, now you know whether you need narrow, medium or wide shoes. But how are the different shoe widths labeled in the shoes? See Women's European Shoe Width Letters Chart below:

Narrow Shoe Width: S, A, 2A, 3A, N. More letters mean more narrow width. I.e. 3A is more narrow than 2A and A.
Medium Shoe Width: B, M, R
Wide Shoe Width: C, D, W
Extra Wide (XWide): E, 2E, 3E, 4E, WW, XW, XXW. More letters mean wider shoes. I.e. 4E is wider than 2E, and XXW is wider than XW.
